Making Time Work For You

I love the weekends.

This is MY time for MY work!

As a brilliant marketer with her head on straight ~ I can say that even if no one else believes it – important that I DO and I DO!

The Business of TOOLS
Recognizing the most important tools I can have in order to build and enjoy my lifestyle means first off, I need a web site, good hosting, a domain name that reflects my intent ~ something Google will love, hopefully, and my blog to shout to the world I have arrived. AND I intend to stay here!

So four tools first in this order …

A website ~ have to build it
A domain name ~ reflect intentions
A blog to advertise I have arrived
Traffic to the blog to advertise the website

Yes traffic is a tool. At least the many ways you can get traffic are tools. ViralHost provides FOUR tools that provide 11 different ways to produce a steady stream of traffic.

If you are in need of good safe, secure hosting, then join me here at ViralHost. All the tools and training you desire.

The first real thing I learned here is the power of a blog to get my website known on the net. AND the importance between a free blog that is strictly for journal writers and a business blog that is paid for and protects MY content from hacking, thievery or just plain loss. Cross the line on a free blog and everything you have worked for is history.

Anyone can build a website, Viralhost also supplies a free website builder with its hosting accounts, but driving traffic to it is the secret many would give their eye teeth to possess. It really isn’t even a a secret once you know how. It is the lack of skills that destroy the dream. The lack of skills that allow hypsters to tell you to get that knowledge you have to pay a fee because it is a secret.

FREEDOM of Lifestyle …
FREE is a strange word. Most of what ViralHost provides, other than the domain and hosting packages, are free to test. FREE to use for life if you want it that way.

FREE normally means NO perceived value. However, put it in its right context and FREE equals testing time. A chance to see if you have the skills to make a specific tool work or will you need some tlc training?

You guessed it! ALL the training you will need to operate every tool that ViralHost offers comes with the hosting package. In fact, if you are a FREE affiliate who only wants to resell these tools, then there is training to give you a head start there as well.

So what’s left to make the weekend work for you? Choose a hosting package and get started. Connect with me and your journey will begin right on track for the lifestyle you want to live.

Have a prosperous ‘fractured’ day …

The Frustrations of Christmas vs. Fun of New Year

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” -Melody Beattie

When you reach a certain age, it becomes easier to think that Christmas is for the younger family members to celebrate ~ New Years is for us ‘oldsters’ so a good meal, toasts to the new year, great company, laughs over the last year and making new year’ resolutions we know we are going to break is wonderful.

Christmas can be so commercial, and loved by the companies who rely on greed to feed their cash registers.

For me, the spiritual side is far more important. Thus my kids were taught to give not get.

ONE gift should go to someone who might otherwise have no gift under their tree if they are lucky enough to have a tree.

The second rule is not always followed, but close. Home made gifts beat boughten, are treasured as well as last longer.

I still have the first Christmas bulb and birth plate from my son Stephen and the first decoration he made for our family tree. When he gets married, I will give them to him for his tree, so his family tradition is carried on with the love he brought to all of us.

The sad shift in Christmas is as the families grow, so do the splits away from the large family gatherings. Time, weather, where everyone lives ~ distance, work schedules, all play a role increasing the number of celebrations.

This year, our celebrations were blessed with the visit of Cousin Bobby from Manchester England. He is here until the 6th of January. It has been a number of years since we have seen Bobby. With the passing of his parents, it is now his turn to fill the breach with his family this side of the big pond.

I am sure we will be seeing or at least reading a lot more about Bob as he retires in two years, and already is setting the stage as a unique photographer. His interests run to the history of trains. Both England and Canada have a wonderful history involving these giant steel beasts.

Of course, we could not resist the idea of helping him get positioned on the net for his interests.

One of the things that still amazes me is the differences in cultures whether the USA, England or Canada. For all the naysayers that we do not have an independent culture here in Canada, the differences are sufficient to remind each of us that respect is the common denominator that keeps us all on the same life page.

Thus we come to our final family chapter of seeing 2012 out. With the help of a nice Italian Red wine and a French Bordeaux champagne, we toasted each other, ate fine foods complimented by laughter and stories, we ‘oldsters’ did the evening up just fine.

Ah such an easy good bye to 2012 and a fine welcome to 2013 ~ time to make more memories.

Personal Blogging Determines Your Staying Power

From my very first blog on Blog Estates, I have used my skill of writing on how to position me on the Internet. And here I am today, with Blog #7 Frans Fractured Marketing.

Five of the blogs are company blogs you will see posted on the side. Check them out for your personal enjoyment.

In the Beginning
The aspect of personal blogging becomes ingrained over time, as you learn how to approach a topic, how to go from easy generalization to informed, focused argument for or against any topic of interest.

The biggest gain, benefit if you will, is the consistency of writing which develops your ability to argue in print. Is that a good thing? Arguing for the sake of arguing, no.

BUT arguing or presenting two sides of any hot topic is a skill only writing and taking the comments can create.

Learning the truth about your mettle

Those comments can sure be mean spirited in tone. When you hit the hot button of some readers, you are going to invite their hot retorts. Some do present a solid case for things you disagree with, those are the thinkers.

Then there are those whose mouth is run by emotions and their brains can still be found in the original packaging.

Who Do You Love
Somewhere on the journey, you learn who your readers really are. What makes them tick and how to write to encourage their support. It is the getting there that turns the average person right off about blogging.

It isn’t what to say or write about that bothers them the most, it is ” … what if people do not like what I write, what if they hate me?”

Negative Emotion vs. Opening their Minds

Some will, some won’t. However, if the haters continue to read and post reasonable comments for something you write, then it is easy enough to understand some people just react verbally before putting their brain in gear.

If you blog to become the Head of the Happy club then you will give it up. No one can please any of their readers all the time. In fact if you can reach and create dissent you are probably going to be a good writer. Why? Blogging is opinion and opinion creates opposites and opposites create the fodder for good communications and relationship building. The responders are the ones who care.

Evolution vs. Revolution

Believe it or not, you can be on opposite sides of any fence and still respect the opinions each of you hold. Revolution comes from evolution. Evolution provides growth to sustain direction. Your job is to provide that fodder and the revolution will be created by your readers. Make it a revolution of needed and positive change and you are a winner.

My Name is Fran ~ Editor of Frans Fractured Marketing

My Name is Fran …

I suppose the normal part of blogging is that you need to know who the devil I am. While some of you do know me, some have received training from me, and others I have met on social sites like Facebook .

First let me say, I have been online since 1992; less than one year after I suffered FOUR heart attacks that should have done me in. Stubborn, methinks, so I am still here.

It taught me two very important things … faith can move mountains; it can chase death from your door. And two, that by determination and patience, I have taught myself the skills and talents that you too will need in order to succeed online.

The mistake most people make is to say, “I want to make money. How much can I make if I join you?

What they should be determining is why do they need to make any money, and what do they need it for? Then, what are they willing to do to make it happen.

Joining me won’t directly make you a nickel. what it will do is you will now have a pro-active mentor who will help you save time, dollars and frustration by giving you the opportunity to follow in my steps, learning time savers proven by hundreds of successful marketers who came before you and I.

By emulating what I do, then we both become stronger. Increases in income potential grow as we build a team of new members ready to follow us.

It took me a while to realize the power of this statement. No one was sharing with anyone when I first started. It was a dog-eat-dog just do it scene.

When I think about how frustrated and angry I was back then, I am pretty sure that is what made me determined to help other new people – newbies, get the right start. Avoid the pitfalls and understand one very important thing about online success – we are ALL newbies today and we will continue to be newbies until we die.

Why? Because there will always be something NEW to learn and hopefully someone who cares enough to help us through it.

That is who I am. If you are ready to be challenged by me first, in testing your mettle, your desire to succeed, and your patience and determination in learning the skills you will need, then let’s get started.
