Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

Christmas img “ In actual life, every great enterprise begins with and takes its first step forward in faith. ”  ~~ August Wilhelm von Schlegel

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my faithful readers.  Now is the time to take stock of what has been and plan for what is to come.

For dear readers who do not celebrate Christmas as we do, I wish
you a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanza, Feliz Navidad, Happy Winter
Solstice
and any other I may not know how to pass on.

The New Year is coming soon enough. What will you do to improve
over your actions in 2013?

Is it time to make some serious changes but you are not quite sure
where to begin?

How about your record keeping?  Everyone knows it is best to have
a tracker for your daily work. You need to keep a close eye on the
programs that ARE working for you. Traffic? Conversions? There is
a lot to learn using those trackers so make sure the real time stats
you need to know are easily found.

Contact and membership Records

It is another form of record keeping this article is about.
When you first start out with a new company, there is the
excitement of getting started. The TOS – Terms of Agreement
and most of the promotional materials and advice get overlooked.

The need to be first dominates and as a result, getting started
becomes an exercise in frustration. Especially when the promised
traffic or conversions do not just pop up all over your promotions.

It’s back to square one.

How Many Programs?

Now that is a major shock question, especially when you check
your list of programs you have joined. What is your referral
URL? Can you quote it within ONE minute? What is your contact
ratio? How many subscribers/members are on your team that are
actively promoting?  There are more questions I can ask but I
think you are getting the picture  here.

When I first came on line, I joined everything everyone else
told me was hot for the moment. That was the problem in a
nutshell. “HOT for the moment!”is the death knell
for your income creation and for how others foresee your
professionalism.

No doubt your imagination is jumping over a colored history
of here today, gone tomorrow opportunities that took your
dollar and left you frustrated at the results.

Golden Tip #1

How to fix this? Good record keeping. When you join, create
the proper files on User name and password; referral URL,
trackers if they use one or your own to convert that URL to;
and the choices of promo materials and where you will add
them to build your downline [subscribers].

Golden Tip #2

Create a separate file for each new subscriber that joins you.
Make sure you list the dates or mails for contacting them as
well. Do they belong to the same social media as you? ADD them
there. Do they use the same email as you? Contact and add them
there.

Building a relationship comes after the joining and during the
learning of how to use a new program or  Traffic Exchange or any
other form of opportunity. That is your responsibility in making
every effort to connect.

Golden Tip #3

Building a business is not about supporting new programs, or list
building per se or a ton of other actions, it is about promoting
YOU, building YOUR reputation as reliable and trustworthy. You
build the professional reputation by your work ethic.

No one with any credibility ever says online marketing is easy.
It is a lot of work, like it or not. Thus if your plans are to hang
around for a while, make sure you do so by thinking ahead.

What if what you have in mind is a gold nugget? Will you be
prepared to meet the challenge?

This article will help you get started in the right way. Make
2014 profitable in all ways and do it with finesse.

Christmas Give Aways Need To Relate

I am looking through some safe and powerful standbys I use when
I am working online. As I sort, they will become give-aways for
your enjoyment and learning education.

Christmas give-aways need to relate to what you do online. They
become another part of About You helping your reader know more
about you.

There is a ton of useless information out there and right now I
see no need to reinvent the wheel when some things are proven
forwards and backwards thus becoming fixed principles.

My thought here, is if you are properly informed, you will stop
being naive victims of online shams, false promises of income in
outrageous sums, and learn to think for yourself. Decide when
someone is flumoxing you and when the rare person is genuine
and you will grow from their advice.

Three Steps To Becoming Invisible

Everyone is saying, me included, that you can create income based
on three steps. It is true, in some proven cases, you can. However,
there are sometimes a ton of sub actions within each step that
must be given equal time to learning a skill or setting up a tool
before the three steps produce the promise.

What About The FREE Argument?

The only place that holds true, is in your dreams created by the
very people who get you to sign on, then two steps later tell you
a tool you need will cost you to continue.

Affiliates need to pay monthly dues. A new business entrepreneur
needs to invest in a good data base management application. The
need to have or employ good tech people. Online or offline, you will
need to invest cash in your future. Of course, online is cheaper but
it is NOT FREE!

Online business requires the same staff to operate the daily
business dealings an offline business would encounter. Do you
have all those skills yourself? If not, then JVing or partnering
with the right skilled people will be a part of your business plan.
While some actions can be safely outsourced, many need to be securely
protected. Therefore, many you will need to learn in order to make
your goals happen.

BUILDING For Tomorrow

Offline you own or rent a store front for prospective people to
wander through and hopefully become a steady customer Online
you MUST have a website. That IS your store front. This IS where
people will find you and, if properly set up, will become repeat
customers.

In this day and age of advancing technology, even the once simple
affiliate now understands they too need a website. Some of them
use blogs, others social venues but bottom line where do they send
their leads who are not quite in the buying mood?
